Woman Undergoes Surgery to Remove “Nathli Patch” Stuck in Lung

When the ‘Nathli patch’ got stuck in the lung, the unique story of the operation
Calcutta: In a local hospital in India, doctors performed a successful surgery to remove the ‘nail of the nail’ embedded in the woman’s lung, which was stuck in the lung through the respiratory tract.

The story came to light when the woman went to the doctor a month after the incident and told that she was suffering from pneumonia along with persistent cough and shortness of breath.

According to the report of the British broadcaster BBC, a woman named Varsha Sahu, a resident of Calcutta, said that last month, when I was having constant cough and breathing problems, I used medicine on the advice of the doctor, but there was no improvement.

He said that last month I was talking to someone and while taking a deep breath and inhaling, I did not know when this nostril nail went into the respiratory tract.

According to 35-year-old Varsha Sahu, the patch worn in the nose accidentally went down the throat, so there was not much trouble at first. It didn’t happen.

I thought the patch must have gone into my stomach, but instead of going into my stomach, the little nail got stuck in my lung and I had trouble breathing for several weeks.

Dr Debraj Josh, who performed the successful operation on Varsha Sahu, says that this was a very unusual case as only two such cases have been reported in the last decade. A grain of dried fruit gets stuck.

He said that this mostly happens to young children or people over 80 years of age. This is unusual for a 35-year-old female patient.
