The bride kidnapped the groom at the wedding ceremony
During the wedding ceremony in the Haridwar district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand, the bride went into a frenzy and took the groom and his family hostage.
When the groom arrived at the bride’s house accompanied by his family and friends, there was an atmosphere of happiness everywhere and everyone was enjoying the ceremony.
A few moments before the rituals, the demand for additional dowry came from the boys’ parents, which surprised everyone. They demanded that 15 square feet of land be allotted to us.

When the girls refused, the boys severely criticized. On this, the girls got angry, the bride along with her family and relatives kidnapped the groom and his family.
He said that we have paid Rs 10 lakh to the groom to buy a car and gifts for his family but still he demanded to buy the land.
The police reached the spot after the incident. While canceling the wedding, the brides demanded Rs 20 lakhs from the grooms to pay for the ceremony.
In the presence of the police, the boys paid Rs 20 lakh as expenses and the procession returned without the bride.
